No time to join a service club but want to give back to the community? Volunteer your time as a “Big Eventer” to help out on the day at the town’s big events!
Sign up below to become a “Big Eventer” to lend a helping hand at Soapbox Derby, SummerFest, Fireworks, Christmas Market, and Santa’s Sleigh.
The most important qualification? Being willing to help. Main duties will include: marshalling, erecting things, carrying things, and generally being helpful both at set-up and break-down of the event, and welcoming visitors during the day. Specialist skills are also very much welcomed. Being part of an effective “Big Eventers” team will be enjoyable, good fun, and rewarding.
