Being part of Rotary is more than just giving back to the community by volunteering. It is also about you bringing your skills, experience and enthusiasm to help it thrive, whilst making some great friends along the way.
Our club is a friendly place; we invite speakers from a wide range of backgrounds to share their knowledge, increasing your social and cultural understanding. Members also share a common interest in friendship and if you visit any of our clubs around Great Britain and Ireland you will immediately feel the sense of camaraderie and fun.
Share Skills by Volunteering for Rotary
Volunteering with Rotary could be the most important thing you ever do. Your skills and experience are invaluable in our drive to help communities at home and around the world through our volunteer work. Whether you become a member of Rotary or volunteer your time and abilities to our club, you will be helping to make people’s lives better.
If Rotary sounds like the organisation for you and you feel like volunteering some of your spare time, we’d like to hear from you! Simply contact our club secretary by emailing email@example.com and we will contact you with details of our club.
We look forward to meeting you!

We are planning the next Soapbox Derby to coincide with the extended weekend of celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. This has been announced as the weekend of 2nd to 5th June 2022. We look forward to seeing you there!
We look forward to seeing you at Summerfest on 8th August, with our usual selection of stalls, stage acts and entertainment. There will be a fairground and food – so a great day out for the family. See you there!
Unfortunately, like so many other events, Billericay Christmas Market has fallen victim to coronavirus restrictions and we have had to cancel this year’s event. Plans are already underway for our 2021 event, which will take place on Sunday 5th December 2021. Please put that date in your diary and we look forward to seeing you enjoying yourself shopping, listening to the musical acts and having fun at the fair.
Held on the first Sunday in December since 2010, the Market in the High Street has become the traditional start to Christmas in Billericay. The market has its own continental market, a fun fair, craft stalls and plenty of food outlets; there’s something for everyone. The money raised is used to support charities and good causes, many of which have stalls in the market. See you there next year!
