Being part of Rotary is more than just giving back to the community by volunteering. It is also about you bringing your skills, experience and enthusiasm to help it thrive, whilst making some great friends along the way.
Our club is a friendly place; we invite speakers from a wide range of backgrounds to share their knowledge, increasing your social and cultural understanding. Members also share a common interest in friendship and if you visit any of our clubs around Great Britain and Ireland you will immediately feel the sense of camaraderie and fun.
Share Skills by Volunteering for Rotary
Volunteering with Rotary could be the most important thing you ever do. Your skills and experience are invaluable in our drive to help communities at home and around the world through our volunteer work. Whether you become a member of Rotary or volunteer your time and abilities to our club, you will be helping to make people’s lives better.
If Rotary sounds like the organisation for you and you feel like volunteering some of your spare time, we’d like to hear from you! Simply contact our club secretary by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and we will contact you with details of our club.
We look forward to meeting you!

In light of the Government advice and guidance on limiting travel and public gatherings, we have taken the very difficult decision to postpone the Soapbox Derby. We are planning, at present, to run the next Soapbox Derby on 3rd May 2021. We look forward to seeing you there!
We have taken the very difficult decision to cancel Summerfest 2020 as, even if the Government does loosen restrictions, the time to plan and the likelihood of social distancing remaining in place leaves little space for this event. We look forward to you visiting our event in 2021.
Held on the first Sunday in December since 2010, the Market in the High Street has become the traditional start to Christmas in Billericay. The market has its own continental market, a fun fair, craft stalls and plenty of food outlets; there’s something for everyone. The money raised is used to support charities and good causes, many of which have stalls in the market. See you there next year!
